Hrafnhildur Árnadóttir Hafstað
Hrafnhildur Árnadóttir Hafstað (Hildur Hafstad) soprano graduated from The Dutch National Opera Academy in 2015 with Valerie Guillorit and Margreet Honig as her main teachers. She performs on a regular basis as a soloist in Iceland as well as in Europe. Roles that she has performed include Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos by R. Strauss, the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro and Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte by W. A. Mozart, Thérèse in Les mamelles de Tirésias by F. Poulenc and the title role of Alcina by G. F. Händel. Her concert repertoire includes Vier letzte Lieder by R. Strauss, St Matthew Passion and The Christmas Oratorio by J. S. Bach, Exsultate Jubilate by W. A. Mozart, Gloria by F. Poulenc and Petite Messe Solennelle by G. Rossini.
Among her most recent performances are Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini in the Netherlands, Viennese New Year's Concert with Iceland Symphony Orchestra and the role of Annina in Verdi's La Traviata at the Icelandic Opera.
